This website is my collection of daily watercolors. I started painting one a day to get my paintings skills going after a bit of a hiatus. It has turned into an obsession for me. I begin each day thinking of what to paint as I make my coffee. It is usually very early and still dark outside. As the water boils, I set up my paper and paints, turn on some music and get going. The morning painting sets the mood for the day. When I am going to be out hiking in the mountains or kayaking on the water I will wait and paint en plein air. It is always inspiring to paint while in the scene live. My goal is to paint one a day for a year and then I am sure I won't be able to stop there. Please enjoy these little snippets from my life.
