The hardest adjustment to fall moving into winter and the clock changing to standard time are the dark mornings. I wake up early year round and I miss the light. Finding subjects for painting becomes more difficult as well. The days are so short, you can barely get outside, especially during the work week. But I do love the silhouettes of the leafless trees.
